It is the time again to let you know about our plans for the Trophy Presentation Evening on Wednesday 4th May 2022.
We try to do something every year. However, the last time we were able to enjoy a Trophy Presentation celebration was two years ago as COVID put paid to internal tournament events.
You may remember that we invited parents to come along to the Christmas Party event in December 2021 and were encouraged to join in with some fun badminton and larking around.
The fun stuff will take place before we serve the food, which will be a change this year to hot dogs with veg sticks plus a soft drink for the youngsters. The kind members of the club committee will also lay on plenty of crisps, nibbles, and cakes. What’s not to like?
It all starts at 4pm in the main hall at the Harborough Leisure Centre and will finish by 7pm.
The presentation will be from 5pm to 5:30pm with medals presented to all the winners and runner-ups of both the Girls & Boys U10’s; U12’s; U14’s; U16’s; U18’s Single and Level Doubles events. In addition three trophies for the most improved player in respect of either 4-5pm or 5-6pm or 6-7pm sessions. The annual trophy for the “Outstanding Club Member” will also be presented.
The food will be served at 5.30pm. Please either complete and return the form provided or RSVP to Lynda (07901 935105) confirming the member’s name, whether a meal is required and if a photo is allowed.
As before, we really don’t expect you to stay for the whole thing, but we would be delighted to see you.
